Getting Started

Step 1: A district administrator must first select a timeframe for data collection. The next step is to access the NJTRAx Digital Innovations Data Collection tab and open the window for the district. Unique codes will be generated for each of the self-assessments for the middle and high schools (or K-8/K-12 schools) in the district.

Step 2: The school administrator or Point-of-Contact (POC) will then access the data collection codes for each middle and high school and distribute the codes, with an explanation and a request for the invitees to take their respective self-assessments within a specific time frame. This administrator can monitor the invitees’ completion of self-assessments through the site. Please see the downloadable Instructions to the School Point-of-Contact located in the Data Collection tab.

Step 3: Once the participants have completed the self-assessments, their responses will be automatically consolidated into a unique report for the district in Looker Studio format, with options for individual school reports. Once the reports are generated, the report URL will be forwarded to the POC or administrator.

Step 4: The POC or administrator can also log into this dashboard to get the URL for the report, which will be in a Looker Studio format. The report will offer access to district-level and school-level reports in a dynamic, interactive Looker Studio site.
